Pizza doesn’t have to take a lot of time to make, and it doesn’t have to have traditional toppings. The smoked cheese melted on top pairs deliciously with the sauce, and will make your pizza party a must-attend event.
1 prepared pizza dough (homemade, store-bought; traditional, gluten-free, or low-carb)
½ cup Head Country Sugar Free Bar-B-Q Sauce
1 cup shredded smoked Gouda cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
¼ small red onion, thinly sliced
8 ounces cooked chicken tossed with 2 tbsp. Head Country Sugar Free Bar-B-Q sauce
2 tablespoons chopped cilantro
Place pizza stone or pan in center of oven and preheat at 500 degrees one hour before cooking pizza.
Use a large spoon to spread Bar-B-Q sauce over pizza dough. Sprinkle smoked cheese over the sauce. Distribute chicken over the cheese and place onions over chicken. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top of the pizza.
Transfer the pizza to the oven; bake until the crust is crisp and golden and the cheese at the center is bubbly, 8 to 10 minutes. Carefully remove pizza from the oven and top with cilantro. Enjoy!
