There’s cauliflower—and then there’s cauliflower like how a BBQ and grilling enthusiast would do it. Here, a head of cauliflower is sliced into thick steaks, then oiled and seasoned for the grill. A steak sauce based on our Original Bar-B-Q sauce takes it over the top. This may be a veggie, but it won’t feel right to call it a side dish.
1 large head of cauliflower, sliced about 1-inch thick from stalk end through the florets
Burnt Finger BBQ Steakhouse Seasoning
Olive oil
½ C. Head Country Bar-B-Q Sauce, Original
2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. Burnt Finger BBQ Steakhouse Seasoning
Set up grill for up high, direct heat. Lightly oil the cauliflower steaks with oil, then shake on Steakhouse Seasoning on both sides. Make the steak sauce: Combine Head Country Bar-B-Q Sauce, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and 1 tsp. of Steakhouse Seasoning.
Place seasoned cauliflower steaks on the grates and grill for 3-4 minutes per side.
Serve immediately with the steak sauce. Garnish with parsley. Enjoy!
