6 chicken breasts or 3 thick chicken breasts halved
3/4 C. lemon juice (about 3 lemons)
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1-1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
12 oz. Head Country Sugar-Free Bar-B-Q Sauce
1/2 c.Head Country Sugar-Free Bar-B-Q Sauce for basting
Pound each chicken breast (and slice in half, if especially thick), to an even thickness, about 3/4 inch, in a heavy duty zipper bag to keep things tidy.
Add all remaining ingredients to the bag and let marinate, 30 to one hour.
Place chicken on grill and cook 3 minutes on each side, rotate 90 degrees and then cook an additional 3 minutes on each side.
Baste the top of each filet with Head Country Sugar Free after removing from the grill.
Serve immediately—also delicious cold in salads or chopped for soups, tacos, nachos, and more.
Note: If you don't want to fire up the grill, this recipe can also be made in the oven using the broiler.
