Just three ingredients and less than an hour stand between you and a plate piled high with juicy, cripsy wings doused in a sweet, spoon-coating BBQ sauce.
3 pounds of chicken wings, tips trimmed and separated into flats and drums
Head Country Original Championship Seasoning
Head Country Sweet & Sticky Sauce
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
In a large bowl, add the flats, drums, and Head Country Championship Seasoning—we like Original for this recipe. Toss until coated.
Line a rimmed sheet pan or large baking dish with aluminum foil. Add chicken wings, making sure to create an even layer and leaving a bit of space between each wing. Cook, turning 3-4 times, for 35 minutes, or until skin is crispy.
Remove the wings to a large bowl. Add a generous amount of the Sweet & Sticky sauce, tossing to coat. Add wings back to the baking sheet or dish and return to the oven for another 5-10 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbling and the internal temperature of the wings reaches 165 degrees F.
Serve the wings on a large platter with plenty of extra Sweet & Sticky sauce. We love these with anything creamy and/or cheesy—grits, cole slaw, or homemade macaroni and cheese.
